He is survived by: his wife Deidre; his sons, Marek and Bram; his parents, Daniel Remtema and Ruth Remtema; his parents-in-law, Mark and Lori LaCroix; his siblings, Todd Remtema (Heather), Denise Remtema and Michelle VanderHeide (Kevin); his sisters-in-law, Sarah LaCroix (RJ Volosky), April LaCroix (Matt Meador) and Gloria LaCroix; and his pet Lizzy. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles; 13 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cascade Fellowship Christian Reformed Church (6655 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546).
