She is survived by: her husband Larry DeJong; her sons, Brandon DeJong and Andrew DeJong (Bethany); her grandchildren, Maddie, Holly, Georgia and Donald; her siblings, Jack Romence (Lija), Arthur Romence (Julie) and Joanne Martis (Donald); and her sister-in-law Linda DeJong (late Ronald DeJong). She is also survived by nieces and nephews she loved.
