With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Keas (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jean left this world on January 27, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Asselt and Jennie Van Asselt (Karp); her former husband Jerry; and her brothers, Kenneth Van Asselt and James Van Asselt (Carolyn).
She is survived by: her sons, Ron, Brian and Joel; her husband Lord; her grandchildren, Ron and Theresa Keas; her great grandchildren, Taylor and Parker; her grandchildren, Brian and Angie Keas; her brother Don Van Asselt (Ernestine); her sister-in-law Alberta Van Asselt; and her in-laws, Joyce Derenthal (Victor) and Lenora Lanning (Vern). She is also survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Est Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Remembrance Church (4575 Remembrance Rd NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534).
