We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Jay Venema of Grand Rapids, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare Venema and Hermina Venema; and his siblings, Clare and Joan Duininck. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Norm Venema, Jon Venema (Kim) and Nancy Venema; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Jimmy), Sarah (Trevor), Samantha (Steve), Travis (Hannah), Haley, Jeremy (Kelly), Aaron (Becky), Tanneke (Keith), Christine (Josh) and Molly (Christopher); his great grandchildren, Malcolm, Keirston (Avery), Ashley, Kamie, Madison, MacKenzi, Trinity, Nevaeh, Mason of Kenzi, J. J., Nori, Kalee, Logan, Stephen and Reese; and his brother John Venema (Patsy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
