She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Mario Alberto Escalante; her children, Andres Escalante, Cecilia Schaaf, Rachel Escalante, Marianne Escalante, Elizabeth Escalante and Stephanie Escalante; her brother Steve Vander Kamp; and her parents, Douglas Kamp and Martha Vander Kamp. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.
