James Holwerda Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Holwerda (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on December 18, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Gladys; and his mother-in-law MaryLou. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Jeremy, Brian (Angie), Amber (Randy), Justin (Lindsay) and Jamie (Lance); his grandchildren, Ethan, Paige, Isaiah, Hudson, Kylee, Brynn and Harper; his siblings, Cindy, George, Jack, Jennifer, Dan and Carol; and his father-in-law Dale (Carol).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ideal Park Christian Reformed Church (320 56th St SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49548). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
