He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Farmer and Florence Farmer (Stevens); and his brother Mike Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Farmer; his children, James A. Farmer (Patty), Kimberly Andrews (Mark) and Jeffrey Farmer (Donna); his grandchildren, James A. Farmer (Kristen), Lindsay Vipon (Brandon), Jenna Andrews, Chloe Andrews, Riley Andrews, Ashley Farmer and Keira Farmer; his great grandchildren, Lorelei, Lila and Haylee; and his brothers, Timothy Farmer (Joan) and Ric Farmer (Kirsten).
