She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Verbrugge and Cecelia Verbrugge; her husband Colonel Robert Nugent; and her siblings, Patricia Verbrugge, Carol Verbrugge and William Verbrugge. She is also survived by friends and the best grandchildren.
