He was predeceased by: his parents, Hawley Barnard and Dorothy Barnard; and his sister Shirley Jacobson. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his sons, Jeffrey Barnard (Karen) and Brooks Barnard (Katherine); and his grandchildren, Zeb, Wes and Ben.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hills Presbyterian Church (7495 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546).
