It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Lee Koster of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Koster and Elizabeth Koster; his wife Mary Koster; his son Dan Koster; and his sister Shirley Wecker (Bill).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Koster (Susan), Julie Fennema (Dirk), Jill Mahoney (Kevin) and Scott Koster (Mary); and his grandchildren, Jeremy Sorensen, Dave Koster (Natalie), Christopher Koster (Elizabeth), Katie Pazinski (Matt), Kyle Mahoney (Vanessa), Kristin Mahoney (Seth Carrel), Elizabeth Dennis (Keith), Ben Koster (Sherabiyah) and Clint Koster. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; as well as, other extended family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (1120 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Faith Hospice.
