It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Derks (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on February 9, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Sennema Derks; his children, Margi Derks Peterson, Jim Derks (Carol) and Bill Derks (Colleen); his grandchildren, Alice Peterson (David Server), Halcyon Derks (Jeff Martin), Daedalian Canela-Derks (Karla), Torri Derks, Abby Troyer (Adam) and Cooper Derks; his sister Shirley Tindall (Schuitema); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Scovel (Sennema), Louise Derks (Raum) and David Sennema. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Contributions may be made to Fountain Street Church or to Hospice of Michigan in lieu of flowers.
