She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cimek and Bernice Cimek; her husband Frank; her daughter Samantha; her siblings, Chet Cimek, Ed Cimek, Jean Haraburda and Mary Haraburda; her niece Virginia Strobel; and her great-niece Heidi.
She is survived by: her son Frank; her daughter-in-law Melissa Patis; her nieces and nephews, Janice Cox, Theresa Harig, Danny Haraburda (Betty), Charlene Arbanas, Joe "Speedy" Wekenman, Jan Cardinal, Lourie Heintzelman and Barb Sinclair; her close friends, Sally Norton, Dorthy Kuklewski, Sylvia Leonard, Red Hat, Monique Jauw and Melissa DeSota; and also Allen Cimek.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Est Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew (301 Sheldon Blvd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
