He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Jong and Rena De Jong (Vanden Bosch); his foster parents, William Vugteveen and Alice Vugteveen; his spouse Joycie; his children, Mike (Carole De Jong), Beth (Larry Osterbaan), David (Pat De Jong) and Julie (Beowulf Boswell); and his family Fred.
