She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Berend Jonker and Elizabeth Lachniet Jonker; her daughter Laurel Elizabeth Fultz; her siblings, Berend T., Joyce Lont Jonker, Jonathan Jonker and Jeanne Jonker Nienhuis; her former husband Gary Fultz; and her friend Jerry Sechrest. She was also cherished by neighbors, and many great friends.
Because of Elinor's deep love for animals, the family requests that any memorial contributions be directed to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
