He was predeceased by: his parents, Geneva Sr and Edward Ellis Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Gladys Skaff; his children, Marcia (Roy Pearson), Mary Lou (late John Helderop III) and Edward Ellis III (Syboney Dorhout); his grandchildren, Michelle Ellis, Edward, Laura, Thomas, Samuel Helderop, Matthew Pearson and Melanie Pearson; his nephew Mark E. Ellis (Jennifer); and his children, Sean (Christina), Stacy (Chris), Brett and Abby.
