He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer Young and Lillian Young; his parents-in-law, Laverne and Helen Hanson; and his daughter Kelly Beld.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Young; his children, Kimberly Birkle (Mike) and Dana Young (Erin); his son-in-law Ken Beld; his grandchildren, Andrew Birkle (Jordan Gulkis), Alexander Birkle (Lauryn Kruse), Nicklas Birkle, Jillian Ring, Chase Ring, Jacob Beld, Ryan Beld, Morgan Young (Jacob Robertson) and Latham Young; and his siblings, Donna Jones, SalLee Holland and Don Holland (Cheryl).
