He is survived by : his mother Jeannette Gunn (James); his cousins, Steve Abbott (Deb) and Jane Strong (Larry); his friends, Jane Timmer, Anna Baeten and Randy Block; and also, Sarah (Cameron), Eric (Sara), Mark Abbott (Marianne), Evan (Megan), Andrew (Tori), Jennalynn (David Nelson) and Joel Bartlet (Annie Marie Vecziedins).

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (47 Jefferson Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
