He was predeceased by: his father Jim Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mari; his children, Emily Olivas (Livorio), Dair Smith and Kyle Smith (Madeline); his mother Nancy Smith; and his sister Kathleen Lowe (Bob).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 1:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Frontline Community Church (4411 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Blythefield Memory Gardens (6200 Brewer Ave NE, Belmont, MI 49306).
