Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Daniel John Eckert of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 41, on December 13, 2024. He was predeceased by: his father Gary; his grandparents, David, Marilyn VanEvery, Gene and Ruth Eckert; and his uncle Raleigh Griffin.
He is survived by: his mother Amy Eckert (William Zaagsma); his siblings, Michael Eckert and Kathryn Eckert (Magnus Anyanwu); his aunts and uncles, Gale Eckert (Carol), Jane Mohr (Jerry), Melissa Griffin and Sarah Engster (Robert); and his friends, Brad "BJ", Chris and Jeff.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49508).
