He was predeceased by: his brothers, Curtis L VandenBerg, Jack K VandenBerg and Arthur H VandenBerg; and his niece Cathie VandenBerg. He is survived by: his wife Madonna VandenBerg (Grover) of Grand Rapids; his children, Charles "Skip" Jay VandenBerg III (Mary) and Julie L VandenBerg; his grandchildren, Charles "Charlie" Jay VandenBerg IV (Rachel), Peter VandenBerg (Ashley), Michelle Koster (Jordan), Isaiah VandenBerg (Crystal) and Megan VandenBerg; and his great grandchildren, Charles, Edward, Lillian, Charlotte, Madelyn, William, Jacqueline, Lucas, Taysen and Tanzden. He is also survived by family members and friends.
