Carole Pickering Richardson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Pickering Richardson of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Frankfort, Indiana, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kyger Pickering and Elizabeth Kimble Pickering; her sister Linda Clasen Apke; her nephew Craig Jonathan Clasen; and also R. Wayne Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, John Richardson (Patti) and Robyn Elizabeth Richardson; her grandchildren, Taylor Richardson, Brenden Richardson, Aleah Richardson and Gavin Morris; her sister Margot Gates (Fred); and her nieces and nephews, Brian Gates, Ashley Krause and Whitney Gates.
Carole was also an active volunteer with Grand Rapids Junior League, Rockford Education Foundation, and the hospital guild where she bought and arranged flowers for the gift shop.
