Calvin Jay DeVries Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Jay DeVries of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barb; his grandson Corky; his siblings, Walter, Lois DeVries, Edgar, Shirley DeVries, John and Peggy DeVries; and his siblings-in-law, James Hillebrands, Carol DeVries and Arlene DeVries.
He is survived by: his children, Craig, Norma DeVries, Curtis, Cheri DeVries and Dianne DeVries; and his brothers, Peter DeVries, Martin Jr. DeVries and David (Carol DeVries). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakdale Park Christian Reformed Church (961 Temple St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
