Betty Kay Van Horn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Kay Van Horn (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Humphrey and Corene Humphrey (Hunter); her siblings, Jerry P., Kevin M., Bobby Ray, Johnny, Jimmy Lee Humphrey and Kristie J. Humphrey; and her niece Brandi Humphrey.
She is survived by: her husband Rich Van Horn; her children, Kim Thorpe (Ed), David Van Horn (Theresa) and Jason Van Horn (Julie); her grandchildren, Lisa Hoffman (Jake), Amanda Lawrence (Hank), Devinie Sanders (Nate), Tristan Van Horn, Reagan Van Horn, Navey Van Horn and Hunter Van Horn; her great grandchildren, Luke E. Hoffman, Ella G. Hoffman, Isaac W. Hoffman and Knox P. Sanders; and her siblings, Gail Workman (Dave) and Keith Humphrey (LeAnn).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Southside Church of Christ (1304 36th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
