In the vast expanse of eternity, Betty Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Betty Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alje Buiter and Eva Van Biessim Buiter; her daughter Debra Lynn Bouwens; and her granddaughter Jillian Elizabeth Bouwens. She is survived by: her husband John Melles; her daughter Lisa Anderson (James Gregory); her grandchildren, Christina Nicole Lasher (Scott) and Chad Michael Bouwens (Alesha Weigel); and her great grandchildren, Briana Nichole Zwiers, Jacob Thomas Zwiers and Jocelyn Nichole Bouwens.
