With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Thompson (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on September 3, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Thompson; and her siblings, John Platschorre, Daniel Platschorre, Leonard "Simon" Platschorre, Helen Verwys, Klazina "Bobbie" Potts, Ann Theule, Marie VandenToorn and Alice Hayden.
She is survived by: her children, William Paul Thompson, Bonnie Spaanstra (Bruce) and Marilyn Lomashewich (Jerry); and her granddaughters, Amanda Spaanstra (Dan Waegel) and Caitlin Spaanstra.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Puritan Theological Seminary.
