Though Alice may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Verhey and Violet Verhey; her brother Lynn Verhey (Marilyn); and her daughter Elizabeth Laik (Jeff). She is survived by: her brother John Verhey (Carole); and her sons, David Hinkel (Cheryl) and Bruce Hinkel (Lisa). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Apostolic Church (4501 56th St SW, Wyoming, MI 49418).
