It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Pickett (Grand Rapids, Michigan), born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on September 7, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne; and her sisters, Violet, Gladys and Grace. She is survived by: her daughter Janice "Jan" Hembroff (Ted); her sister Doris; her grandchildren, Nicholas Jr (Rebecca), Michael Jr (Jessica), Joseph Jr and Ted "Teddie" Jr; and her great grandchildren, Lillian "Lilly", Lucas and KenLeigh.
