He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Petruske and Kathleen Petruske (Coburn); and his sister Norma. He is survived by: his wife Victoria Petruske of Grand Marais; his children, Gus and Katie; and his sister Yvonne "Boots" Basil (John). He is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
