He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Venturato and Edna Jean Venturato (Massey); his wife Liz; his children, Joey, Dorothy, Richard and Elizabeth "Lisa"; his brother Gary Venturato; his siblings-in-law, Cliff Beek and Dawne Johnson; and his niece Lynn Johnson.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Hannah, Wesley and Noel; his siblings, John Venturato (Jo) of Grand Marais, Denis Johnson (Paula) of Marquette, Debra Beek of Allegan, Terri Paradise (Dave) of Cooks, Jim Johnson (Patty) of Sault Ste, Marie and Robert Johnson of Rudyard; and his sister-in-law Fairy Venturato. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
