He was predeceased by: his parents, Verd Rumfield and Anna Rumfield Sr. (Mallory); his former wife Sally Rumfield (VanGansbeke); and his siblings, Robert Rumfield and Elizabeth Rumfield (Hunt).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Meg" Rumfield (Wise); his children, Valerie Wright (Christopher) and Michael Rumfield (Cathy); his stepson Dr. David Christy (Jennifer Kuhlman); and his grandchildren, Sean Rumfield and Krista Wells (Jason).
