He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. and Frieda Knapp. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Michal Knapp and Amy Vandergriff (David); his granddaughter Victoria Busby; and his siblings, Charles (Carolyn), Robert (Bernie), Carmella Savage (Bruce), Phillip (Cynthia), Therese (Rick), Paul (Terry) and Ronald.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Juvenile Diabetes, American Cancer Society, Gift of Life or St. Michael Catholic Church in memory of Dick.
