With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Allen Steitz (Grand Ledge, Michigan), born in Fresno, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Steitz and Jean Steitz. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Steitz; and his sons, Jason Schweitzer (Teresa) of Powell Butte, OR, Clint Schweitzer of Roseburg, OR, Keith Allington (Karen) of Clovis, CA, Brad Allington (Cindy) of Fresno, CA and Steve Steitz (Renee) of Grand Ledge, MI. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
