She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Root and Barbara Root (Brandel) of Grand Ledge, MI.. She is survived by: her siblings, Brian Root (Tammy), Victoria Brackney, Teresa Campbell (Alan), Cindy Holt (Greg), Mark Root (Pam) and Barbara Johnson (Mike); and her aunt Peg. She is also survived by cousins as well as eight nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gina can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital for Advanced Breast Cancer Research or Sparrow Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.
