She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Sweet and Louella Sweet; her husband Ed Hovey; and her children, Tom Hovey (Janet) and Candace Glaister.
She is survived by: her children, Charles (Robin), Dan Renton, Phil (Louise), John Hovey (Monica), Margaret Truax (Scott) and Sue Desmond; her daughter-in-law Terri Hovey-Randell; and her pet Mike. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
