He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Baase and Dorothy Baase (Kingham); and his sisters, Brenda Leiner and Shari Newman. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Baase (Garrison); his children, Danielle Robertson (Jared), Nicole Schuiling (Jonathan) and Jeff Younk; his grandchildren, Christian Quealy, Samuel Schuiling, Jacob Schuiling, Jorden Ball, Layla Younk, Cecilia Younk, Zach Robertson and Luke Robertson; and his siblings, Steven Baase, Bob Baase and Dawn Kazmerski-Spooner. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mills Funeral Home - Peters & Murray Chapel (301 E Jefferson St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837).
