He was predeceased by: his parents, Diamond Gosnell and Jessie Gosnell. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gosnell (Young); and his children, Sharon Friar (Michael), Gary Gosnell (Linda) and Teresa Lischkge (Brian Gross). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
