It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marguerite Lucille Platte (Grand Ledge, Michigan), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernice Raffler and Lucille Raffler (Johnson); her daughter Elaine Platte (Delbert); and her brothers, Arthur Raffler, Vernon Raffler, Elwyn "Dutch" Raffler, Richard Raffler, Larry Raffler, Arnold Raffler, Donald Raffler and Darwin Raffler.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Platte (Michael Daniels) and Phillip Platte (Tracy); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn E. Daniels, Joseph N. Daniels of William, C. M, Danielle R. Kelley (Luke) and Zachary Platte (Chelsea Zerias); and her brother Marvin Raffler (Sue).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home & Cremation Services (406 N Bridge St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837).
