He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Kirchen; his daughter Susan Osborn; his grandchildren, Ericka Osborn and Rusty Ladd; his great grandchildren, Porter Ladd, Susie Abfalter and Wesley Anderson; and his parents, Walter Kirchen and Flossie Kirchen (Sanders).
He is survived by: his children, Louie Kirchen Jr. (Janice), Steven Kirchen, Cheryl Ladd (Chris), Cindy Dole (Terry) and Jennifer Abfalter (Gorden); his son-in-law Tony Osborn; and his brothers, Keith Kirchen and Kenneth Kirchen (Ann). He is also survived by his eighteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Louie Kirchen to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
