He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Brazee and Dorothy Brazee (Below); his wife Patricia; his brother Gerald Brazee; and his sister-in-law Ruth Brazee.

He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Brazee of Lansing and Scott Brazee (Buffi Conroe) of Grand Ledge; his grandchildren, Zoe Brazee and Logan Bazee; his brother Fred Brazee (Lora Mae); and his sister-in-law Nancy Brazee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
