He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnette Dethlefsen and Lillian Dethlefsen (Emslie); and his sister Rae Dethlefsen. He is survived by: his children, Kristin Sfeir, Kara Brown (Bill), Kimberly Dethlefsen (Ron), Matthew Dethlefsen (Trisha) and Katie Dethlefsen; his grandsons, Nicholas, Jason Jr. and Nathan Sfeir; his sister Zoe Mantlo (Steve); and his former wife Barbara Dethlefsen (Frazier).
