He is survived by: his wife Beth Krause (Appold); his sons, Matthew (Malgorzata), Aaron (Rachel) and Nathan (Maegan); his brother Mark Krause (Lynn); his sister-in-law Patrice Appold; and his grandchildren, Levi, Francesca and Mason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
