She was predeceased by: her siblings, William R. Starr, Oweetah Starr and James Starr; and her parents, Hebert Starr and Eleanor Starr.
She is survived by: her sister Phyllis Cornell; her children, Daniel N. Stephens (Deborah) of DeWitt, Robert S. Stephens (Elaine) of Grand Ledge and Carla S. Compton of Orange County, CA.; her grandchildren, David James Stephens, Benjamin Compton, Justin Bascom, Andrea Stephens, Victoria Compton, April Fisher and Alicia Montoya; and her husband Rev. Douglas R. Stephens. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
