He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Rupright and Virginia Rupright Jr. (Woodcock); and his brothers-in-law, Butch Blais and Bruce Penfield. He is survived by: his sisters, Sheila Blais, Charlene Brox (Richard) and Cathy Penfield; his nieces, Stacie Straw (Aaron), Jami Allen (Kyle), Kristy Soldan, Nikki Olson (Wayne) and Jessi Westen (Bruce); and his nephew Phil Penfield (Roberta).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in loving memory of Eric Rupright to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
