He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tyler (Harrison); his sons, Derek (Jeni) and Curtis; and his grandchildren, Cody and Abigail.

“I got to know don while working at meijer. We trucked some miles and also worked as switchers in the yard. Don was very family oriented. He always had a family story to pass on. Don also really liked almond joy candy bars and always had a bag to share the bite size ones with. Don was a good man and will certainly be missed. Rip my friend. Jamie king”
