He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Grove and Mary Grove (Wright); his siblings, Edmund Grove, Glenn Grove, Raymond Grove, Beulah Weatherwax, Jean Maloney, Annette Rose and Eldred Carey; and his son-in-law Lyle Place.
He is survived by: his wife Lila Grove of Grand Ledge; his children, John Grove (Kim) of Eagle and Mary Place of Eagle, Michigan; his grandchildren, Joseph Patino (Tami), Nicholas Patino (Megan), Sarah Pangle (Tyler), Kristen Garcia (Austin) and Hannah Schuler (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Jacob Patino, Maxwell Patino, Lucas Patino and Ivan Pangle.
