He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Frendt and Alice Frendt (Wolet); his sister Lorraine Tipcke; and his stepmother Gladys Frendt. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Dan Frendt, Patti Starnes (Jason) and Bill Frendt; his grandsons, Alex Barber (Marjorie), Nicholas Barber (Brianna) and Jason James "J. J." Starnes; his great grandchildren, Lorenz, Kai, Caroline and Amelia; his siblings, Tom Frendt (Kathy), Bill Frendt and Donna Frendt; and his brother-in-law Ron Tipcke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Daniel to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior's Project.
