It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Halsted of Grand Ledge, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, E. O. Halsted and Helen Halsted (Alvord); his siblings, Ruth Marie DeWitt (William), Martha Masuch and Harley Halsted; and his great-nephew Christopher DeWitt.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Halsted (Ward); his children, Dean Halsted (Kristi), Casey Halsted and Brigitte Davis (Zack); his grandchildren, AnnaBelle and Charlie Davis; his nieces and nephews, William DeWitt (Deborah), Suellen DeWitt, Richard DeWitt (Kelly) and Jane Thompson (Jarrod); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alana Johnson (Clayton), Josh Dewitt, Brandon DeWitt, Gregory DeWitt (Jenna), Caleb DeWitt and Van Thompson.
