It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Diane Racine of Grand Ledge, Michigan, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Brownell and Leona Brownell; her husband Henry E. Racine; and her siblings, Harold (Skip), Helen, Arlene and Phyllis.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Racine and Stephen Racine (Sarah Hill); her grandchildren, Courtney Racine (James Thompson), Stephanie Racine, Garrett Racine, Taylor Racine (Elijah Butler) and Alyssa Racine; and her great grandchildren, Evelynn, Atlas, Yanelis and Maxtin.
In lieu of flowers and for those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society, St. Jude's Children's Research Project, or to Sparrow Hospice of Mid-Michigan in loving memory of Carol.
