It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ashley Ann Burghardt of Grand Ledge, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Kathleen Brickel, Mary and Leonard Castle; her aunt Beverly Brickel; and her cousin Nick Brickel.
She is survived by: her parents, Dwight Castle (Patricia Doser-Dycus) and Cheryl Hill (Brickel); her husband Gregory; her son Daniel Cole Burghardt; her sister Angela Bailey (William); her grandfather Richard Brickel; her parents-in-law, Joanne and Dennis Burghardt; and her brother-in-law Kevin Burghardt. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mid-Michigan Autism Association or American Cancer Society.
