He was predeceased by: his parent Marvin Cadwell; his grandson Mike Deuel; and his brothers, Edward, Lee and Jerry Cadwell.
He is survived by: his parent Gertrude Cadwell (Hoar); his brother Construction; his wife Frances Cadwell (Lorraine); and his children, Ben (Kim Lawrence), Jane Fortino (Larry), Robert (Tyan), Jeffrey (Paula) and John Cadwell (Carolyn). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
